No, the opposite, high blood pressure.

Yeah, it was horrible and piled on extra anxiety because I felt dizzy for hours at a time with no relief. I'm just dealing with upper gi symptoms only now which is sad but easier than all the other stuff omeprazole brought with it.

Was that when you first started on them Marj?

It was about a month in. It all made me feel worse. I don't get dizzy now and sleep and eat better, though still feeling weird.

I've been on ranatadine for weeks with no real progress being made, I had the low BP symptoms when I was on them, on Friday they changed me to Omeprazole but still getting the low BP, dizziness, sickness, hot and cold chills, diarrhoea. Please tell me all this stops at some point 😢.

It's improved greatly for me. I was on omeprazole for 3 months to treat oesophagitis. My blood pressure is normal, I've only had one dizzy spell since February (I stopped taking omeprazole on the last week of Feb), it's improved my lower gi so I have a bowel movement every day, and only D once when I was nervous. I don't get as many chills or flushes. I do get weird feelings when I'm eating which cause anxiety that lasts for days, and that increases the flushing. But I can honestly say my symptoms are 95% related to digestion now. Reflux, nausea after eating, burping, hollow and tight feelings in my stomach and a tight throat which is worse when I'm gassy. And bloating. So Reflux really only covers 10% of what's going on for me. I'm starting to think I have a hernia but I have pals with Crohns who said their symptoms are like mine. So that's another thing I should probably get ruled out.

I'm opposite too.. high BP so they put me on anxiety meds ( because of panic attacks) and then Lisinopril. I had to stop the Lisinopril because my BP was going extremely low and making me pass out.

They have given me anxiety meds too but I'm worried about taking them because if the low BP.
