How do I know if my belching is from gastritis, H Pylori, SiBo or gallbladder just by the symptoms?

I can’t imagine there is a way. HPylori and SIBO and gallbladder have tests covered by insurance. The baking soda test will only show the level of alkalinity/acidity in your digestive system, not the cause.

I know but because of GERD I can't test for them.becaue I have to be off of PPIs 😬,

Cynthia Uribe
Christina CriCri I couldn’t test either. I wasn’t able to take PPI’s. I get very ill on them. So I ate a very restricted diet of carrots, zucchini, chicken breast and white rice, with lots of fresh herbs cooked in water with a splash of olive oil and Himalayan salt. I took marshmallow root, and slippery elm. Drank ginger tea, licorice tea, chewed and spit out fennel seeds. I did this for too long. Lost way too much weight, too quickly. I lost hair, ages myself drastically. Slowly I tested foods, one at a time every few days. I know have a safe, but nutritious list of foods Respective of all my health conditions. But I’m not well. I should have called in hell years ago. I’m working with an ND now who also will help me figure other foods to test and add. Already, with one visit I am faring better.

Or GP since that is a major symptom for many of us.

Related Post: I feel like my GERD came about when I took an antibiotic called Ciprofloxacin.

It just got worse now and I also have severe gastritis, no wonder my GP is flourishing

My belching started when i had H pylori and it's worse now since getting gastritis.

Christina CriCri
Turned out I had it too but can't retest because I can't get off PPIs.

Pam Alexander
Christina CriCri i retested when i had endoscopy.

Don’t waste your money trying to figure that out because you never will. They’ll take your money for testing
Christina CriCri Then how am I supposed to get rid of it?

Vincent Shelnutt
The whole point is to keep you going back there for life so they can make $$$$$$. I wish I had a better answer. Maybe you’d have luck going to a dr somewhere other than the US.

Best way to find out is by asking your doctor.

Christina CriCri
Lol I asked 10 of them and they are scratching their heads, that's why I am asking here

Bill Stern
Christina CriCri try a GI doc
only way to know for sure is to have a endoscopy.
So the GI doc can see

Christina CriCri
Bill Stern I told you, been to 10 of them and also had EDS, they saw something alright but no treatments / cures lol
