Mine was so horrid I was in a shower and bath tub with the hottest water and if I'd get out, 10 mins later I'd have to go back in!!! Dr said the pain so severe and me going into got water musta been a mind thing like you ever stubbed your toe and someone jokingly says here let me step on the other one... you know to forget the pain of stubbing your toe... well whatever it was it was so bad I did that for 24hrs and a couple days later begged to go to the ER where they found nothing then to gp and finally a barium swallow, now waiting on GI specialist to do an upper.

Mine started during pregnancy with our miracle baby then was only once and then when it did it again iy was every two weeks then nothing for three months and then this May 20th ever since, pain has subsided thanks to pain meds, prilosec, and carafate but my last dose of carafate was today and in a couple days I'll be off prilosec and back to pepcid. Weird because I'm uncomfortable tonight bit havent eaten anything different.

I've been having same pain, and wondering if its gastritis or gerd related. Its under my right ribs midway down my stomach..

Nicole Schrock
I swear its gastritis because doctor mentioned that to me prior to barium swallow but I have both soo how would you know the difference.

The tongue could be thrush. I would get to your doctor and ask about it. Also known as Candida.

Tracy Fisowich-Avram
I've already been tested and treated never helped and test was negative.

Tracy Fisowich-Avram at least it's one less thing to worry about.

All digestive issues can cause similar pains and symptoms I had my gallbladder removed years ago and the only symptoms I had with it was sever pain in upper abdomen and through to back I mean sever pain then I developed Gerd Gastritis and I s now I get pain from Gastritis in upper abdomen but it's a different type pain a burning knawing pain and I get awful symptoms from Gerd like the burning tongue throat irritation heartburn etc only way to know for certain about gallbladder is to have relevant tests done for it.
