My 3 1/2 year old daughter has severe GERD also and has been on meds since 6 weeks old. You've probably tried everything her gastroenterologist has suggested with our kids suffering from such a young age. Diet helps my daughter along with her medication and bed elevated.

When my son has reflux when he was 1 month doctors gave motilium before feeding I used avent bottle and sit up feeding higher pillow hes reflux free now.

Thought we had it controlled but it has recently gotten much worse. Meds no longer working as well. Chris Nfamily- How do you keep your daughter from rolling to the foot of the bed?? Shirley- I'm so happy he's reflux free!

Tara Blanchard , Just a thought. Depending on the age of your child you may be able to use a weighted blanket. This is used on children with Autisim. It might work. Just a thought now.

I do not understand how little ones have acid reflux.

My daughter's bed isn't elevated very much because she does roll down too much when it is. I keep repositioning her during the night to help her sleep as much as possible. It's hard when they're this young. I hope your son has a great gastroenterologist like my daughter does at Children's Hospital.
