I dont. I'm having fasting because it's ramadhan now. In Islam, fasting is good for those who have gastric problem.

Yes. I always need to eat every 3-4 hours until 6pm. I could never fast, it would make me ill.

That’s what mine was doing. I just put the two together. I’ve started to realize I feel so much better after I eat!

It took me a while to figure out. At first I thought it was a coincidence. Now I know I will have problems if I skip meals. Good health to you!

Yes. If the acid doesn't have something to work on it will work on the esophagus.

Mine is much much worse when I’m hungry. When I first had symptoms I had no idea what it was. So I went for weeks without anything to eat. Went to a size 2 (gaunt looking 🙁). When I got diagnosed and started to force myself to eat. I felt better but still got reflux. I choose to eat though. It’s very dangerous path when you stop eating with Gerd. But now I’m just slightly overweight 🤪can’t win.

I take Zantac 150 and omeprazole and stay away from triggers it seems to help.

Do any of y’all use Apple cider vinegar (in any form) to help?
I was prescribed omeporazole before becoming pregnant. Now that I am pregnant I haven’t been taking it because there aren’t many studies on if it is safe during pregnancy.

I get nauseated
if I wait too long. Lately I've been fasting longer (last night was 4 pm to 7 am) and this morning I woke to a slightly nauseous feeling.
