I've been told I have ibs also, but my digestion problems seem to have been caused by acid reducing meds. IBS wouldn't cause the throat and chest burning symptoms.

I disagree I get chronic debilitating lower abdominal pain with my gerd and I have colitis I had the Nissan fundlapacation op back in 2014 had this pain before all the time before the op never had it while my acid reflux symptoms were gone and the op was working now my acid reflux symptoms are back and so is the lower stomach pain around my belly button defo not a colitis pain even tho its sounds as if it is as your bowles are in that area but Ican assure you it's acid reflux pain
