I have woke up choking its awful. It also happen after dinner tonight I couldn't breath made me sick I have a script for protonix

Give ranitidine a go. It's over the counter. It's worked great for me

Zantac for sure. Also you could use soda bicarb. Half a tea spoon in half a glass of water work wanders. When you eat do not lie down for at least 3 hours. Good luck

Yes, several times and thank God that was all! But I really thought I was going to die because I couldn't breathe! Around that time I began either watchers and lost 30 lbs. That helped with a lot of problems. One thing helps is to not eat close to bedt...Lihat Lainnya

Yes, I couldn't breath was gasping for air. It happened again after dinner my throat is so raw from the acid totally sucks. I have never had a back to back episode. I have lived with Gerd all my life and it's awful. I chomped two pepto bismo before bed...Lihat Lainnya

I have slept propped up at an angle with a wedge and pillows for years, and it helps prevent this.
